On 20 October 2022, years of work to shine a light on the issue of SLAPPs in Europe reached a new high point as we hosted the first ever European Anti-SLAPP Conference together with the CASE Coalition.

The Conference, which took place in Strasbourg, France, brought together key stakeholders to discuss the major threat posed by SLAPPs and the best tools we have to fight back against them. Throughout the day, we heard from SLAPP victims, experts, journalists, media professionals, lawyers, policymakers, free speech advocates, academics, and civil society representatives.

You can find all of the photos taken on the day of the conference using the button below.

Share your favourite photos from the conference on Twitter using #AntiSLAPPcon, and don’t forget to tag @ECPMF and @CASECoalition!

If you missed the event, not to worry, you can watch the whole recording below or on the ECPMF YouTube channel.
