#UNCOVERED is the annual conference of the Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU) programme. Organised by the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF), the conference will take place virtually on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 April from 14:00 Berlin time CEST on each day.
At the #UNCOVERED conference the winners will be announced of the first-ever Impact Award for Cross-border Investigative Journalism. It honours international collaborations that have made a difference – leading to political change, exposing wrongdoing or resulting in criminal charges.
The jury met on Monday March 22 to choose the best projects from a shortlist of investigations nominated for Europe’s first award devoted to cross-border investigative journalism.
Chaired by the Guardian’s central and eastern European correspondent Shaun Walker, the panel of high powered experts are: Teresa Ribeiro, Representative on Freedom of the Media at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe OSCE, Nassira el Moaddem, Christian Jensen and Andrzej Rojek.
