Training Grants for Ukrainian Media

As part of its Voices of Ukraine Programme, the ECPMF is offering a total of 100,000 EUR in grants to support regional, local, and hyperlocal media outlets situated near Ukraine’s frontlines. These grants aim to fund training programs that strengthen journalistic quality and resilience. Proposals can be submitted until 29 September 2024.

 

Training grants by the ECPMF are implemented within the framework of the Voices of Ukraine support programme. The programme is part of the Hannah Arendt Initiative and is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.

Who Can Apply:

  • Regional, local, and hyperlocal media outlets located in regions close to the eastern, southern, and northern frontlines within Ukraine.
  • Applicant media outlets must have a significant influence in their local communities.
  • Priority will be given to outlets that focus on:
    • Coverage of the ongoing war.
    • Counteracting Russian propaganda and disinformation.

У межах програми «Voices of Ukraine» ми надаємо гранти на загальну суму 100 000€ для підтримки регіональних, місцевих та гіперлокальних медіа, розташованих поблизу лінії фронту в Україні.

 

Програма «Голоси України» (Voices of Ukraine) від Європейського центру свободи преси та медіа (European Centre for Press and Media Freedom) спрямована на підтримку українських журналістів у восьми напрямках і реалізується у співпраці з шістьма іншими організаціями. Ми надаємо екстрені гранти для медіа та журналістів, технічне обладнання, проводимо короткострокові та довгострокові резиденції, забезпечуємо страхування журналістам на передовій, надаємо спеціальну підтримку жінкам-журналісткам, а також гранти на тренінги. За перше півріччя 2024 року ми змогли допомогти понад 1000 українських журналістів.

Хто може подати заявку

  • Регіональні, локальні та гіперлокальні, які діють в Україні на територіях поруч з східною, південною та північною лініями фронту.
  • Медіа, які мають значний вплив на місцеві спільноти.
  • Перевагу буде надано медіа, які сфокусовані на:
    • Висвітленні війни.
    • Боротьбі з російською дезінформацією та пропагандою.
