Civil Society Appeal to the Member States of the Council of Europe

Call for a Council of Europe Convention on Transnational Repression We, the undersigned civil society organisations, call upon the Member States of the Council of Europe to take urgent and collective action to address the growing phenomenon of transnational repression (TNR) through the adoption of a Council of Europe Convention dedicated to preventing and combating this serious and evolving threat to human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe.

Launch of the European Anti-SLAPP Monitor

The Coalition Against SLAPPs in Europe (CASE) and the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) are proud to announce the launch of the European Anti-SLAPP Monitor, a new online platform designed to track the transposition and implementation of European standards on Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs) at the national level.
