„In Leipzig the pressure was suddenly gone. In Bulgaria, I was hiding. I had to move to new accommodation almost every day. At any moment someone could be at my door or attack me on the street. In Leipzig, there was no need to look over my shoulder all the time. For the first time I had some kind of peace of mind. I could just work and write the truth about the issues I was investigating. I was very productive, and I felt safe enough even to go to the gym or to do some sightseeing. I am very grateful for that.“
