“ECPMF’s Journalist-in-Residence programme opened its doors to me during one of the most difficult periods of my life and career. I literally had nowhere else to go – I needed a safe and calm place to settle, continue my work, and give voice to my colleagues who are in prison. This program became a home for me. The wonderful people there made me feel truly welcome. I’m so glad that my path crossed with ECPMF – it was a valuable and unforgettable experience. And I absolutely fell in love with Leipzig’s beauty, tranquillity, and greenery.”
