Free at last: Investigative journalist Afgan Mukhtarlì freed from prison in Azerbaijan

Investigative journalist Afgan Mukhtarli has been released from Prison 16 in Azerbaijan after three years of arbitrary detention. His release comes after a court pronounced him free on Tuesday afternoon. On 12 January 2018, Mukhtarli was sentenced to six years in prison by the Belakani District Court of Azerbaijan.
