Basir Ahmad Daneshyar, Vice-Chair of the Afghanistan Journalists Support Organization (AJSO) and a Master of Journalism and Mass Communication from China, is a seasoned academic and journalist. With leadership roles at Herat University, including Director of Communication and Public Awareness, Director of the Herat Journalism Department, and Professor of Journalism, he has made significant contributions to education and journalism in Afghanistan. Daneshyar also holds the position of head of the Gahiz Writers and Journalists Association in the West Zone and has experience directing media outlets such as Taban TV, Youth Voice Radio (Herat University Radio), and Mahrefat Monthly Magazine. Following the recent changes in Afghanistan, he relocated to Germany but continues his journalistic efforts through AJSO, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to supporting Afghan journalists.
