“The time when I was involved in the JiR programme was a stressful period, despite my young age, due to my ongoing legal cases, and I found myself hesitating about continuing my work as a journalist.

Thanks to the solidarity shown by the ECPMF team, I was able to unwind in a safe space in Leipzig and gain the opportunity to live in Europe for a while, which had always been my dream.

As someone who has reached the end of the programme, I feel happy and proud to have had all these opportunities. Thanks to the intellectual experience I gained in Germany, I hope to continue my profession as a journalist in pursuit of the truth in the coming period.”
