In Azerbaijan, the pressure on independent media has reached critical levels, with journalists being silenced and independent voices facing severe challenges.

In such times, knowing that there is a team somewhere that prioritises journalists’ safety, ensures their well-being, and helps them continue their work is truly inspiring. ECPMF is well aware of the common struggles journalists face worldwide and provides the best possible support to help them overcome these challenges.

As someone who has experienced the weight of these challenges, I have been given the opportunity to continue my journalistic work in a safe and supportive environment. Through the JiR program, I have found solidarity and strength, working alongside a professional team that understands the struggles journalists face and offers meaningful support to overcome them.

In a world where the principles of justice and freedom are often under threat, ECPMF stands out as a beacon of support for those who dedicate their lives to truthful reporting.
