Over forty press freedom, human rights, and privacy rights organizations co-signed an open letter to the U.K government asking for the immediate release of Julian Assange. Assange faces up to 175 years in prison if he is convicted under the Espionage Act in the U.S due to his involvement in the Wikileaks Publications in 2010-11.
