Call for entries: Leipzig Prize for the Freedom and Future of the Media 2020

Since 2001, Media Foundation of Sparkasse Leipzig awards its Prize for the Freedom and Future of the Media to individuals and institutions who have been committed to media freedom, objective reporting and pluralism of opinion in an outstanding way and often at risk for their own lives - including Anna Politkovskaya, Jafar Panahi, Can Dündar, Asli Erdogan and Deniz Yücel, among others.

The Media Foundation of Sparkasse Leipzig has opened this year’s Leipzig Prize for the Freedom and Future of the Media 2020 and cordially invites you to nominate candidates for this award, which is endowed with a total of 30,000 euros.
